Greetings, friends and readers! Long time no posts about crime.

As you may have noticed, Indiana Infamy took an unexpected hiatus last year. However, I’m pleased to announce that it’s back and (hopefully) better than ever. So you can look forward to deep dives, case-specific discussions, criminal profiles, and even more morbid minutae to keep you up at night. Plus, we’ll also have some book reviews and maybe even a live chat. But in the meantime, thanks for being here, and stay safe this new year.

Wishing you all the best in 2024!

  1. Great to have you back! – Perhaps one (or more) of the book reviews will take a look at my recently completed memoir “Courtroom Warrior”?! In it, I discuss the six nationally publicized cases I had as a criminal defense attorney, some supposedly “impossible” acquittals (incomprehensible even to me), biased judges, incompetent attorneys, and other matters.

Here is a reminder about the Larry Hicks death penalty case (https://occasionaljustice.com/LHdpc.html), and here are succinct reminders about the dramatic Tony Kiritsis kidnap-hostage case and the smuggling pilot’s trial (https://occasionaljustice.com/OBCW.html).

    1. Thank you for the warm welcome back, sir! I’ll message you about reviewing your book, but the short answer is “yes!”

The Tony Kiritsis case is one I have on my list to cover. I’ve always found his frustration and how it eventually played out fascinating.
